Inaugural Art Exhibition
From January 25 to 31, 2013, the Academy held its First Student Art Exhibition together with the Inaugural Fund-Raising Event. The theme of the exhibition was God’s Beauty in My Eyes. With much gratitude to dear friends and supporters of the Academy, as well as the dedicated staff and volunteers, the event was a great success! The students were encouraged as their beautiful creations filled up the art gallery. The silent auction received much enthusiasm from the guests, and the Academy was able to use the proceeds to bless more families with tuition sponsorships.

First Student Musical Performance
On June 28, 2013, the students from Grace Christian Academy had their first musical performance! The musical performance Who Paints My Nose? was based on the inspiring story If Only I Had a Green Nose by Max Lucado, which reminds us who we really are: our true identity in Christ. It was also a fundraiser to raise funds for the foreseeable growth of the Academy; thus a very meaningful event! We are thankful for all our parents, friends, supporters, and volunteers who participated in making this performance a memorable and successful one! Not only were the children blessed by the vibrant applause, but the Academy was also encouraged to continue its mission to touch and transform lives.

First Christmas Carol
Christmas is special and meaningful at the Academy as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. On December 7, 2013, the Academy had its first Christmas Carol in public! We had been very privileged to receive the opportunity to share the love and peace of Jesus Christ through the joyous singing of the students with our friends, supporters, and the community at West Kowloon district! The songs the students sang were: 有一位神, My Peace, Little Town of Bethlehem, Love One Another, Joy to the World, O Holy Night, and Away in a Manger. The students and teachers had been well prepared through many rehearsals, and the event was a glorious success, sharing God’s love through the students’ joyous singing, and praising our God to the highest!

Second Christmas Carol
We were honored to be given the opportunity to share God’s Love with the community of the West Kowloon district through the joyful singing of our students’ four-part choir on the sunny afternoon of Dec 17, 2016! Our Academy had grown, and so had the students’ vocal and musical capabilities. Our students’ diligent rehearsals and training were well worth, as they gave a spectacular, heart-warming performance including a piano duet as well as handbells at the Olympian City Christmas Market! The students sang A Christmas Canon, Angels We Have Heard on High, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, and Angels From the Realms of Glory. A big Thank You to all the parents, friends, supporters, and volunteers who assisted to make this event possible! It was a dream come true indeed!

Third Christmas Carol
On December 16, 2017, we were thankful for the precious opportunity to share God’s love with the West Kowloon district community through the beautiful singing of our students at our 3rd Christmas Carol at Olympic City Two! We were excited as we had many new Christmas songs to share, which included All on a Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem and the Joy to the World Medley. We were grateful for the unconditional and relentless love of the parents, friends, and supporters who came to receive the warmth of our students’ singing and join in our celebration of the birth of our wonderful Savior as our audience. It sure was an uplifting and memorable experience!

Inaugural High School Graduation Ceremony
After a decade of dedicated effort to transform lives with God’s love and grace, Grace Christian Academy is proud to have its Inaugural High School Graduation Ceremony on June 30, 2021. The graduating student, Bradley Chavanat Chan, is a thoroughbred of the A.C.E. Curriculum since pre-school. Bradley completed the academic requirements of the High School curriculum in April 2021 and was awarded the High School Diploma with Honors in recognition of his Christian character, commitment, and service on this memorable day. In his graduation speech, Bradley expressed his heart-felt gratitude to the Founder and Supervisor, Mrs. Chan-Yeo, for making it the highest priority to sow God’s Word as seeds of life into his heart, and for her determination and persistence to always make the Bible the core of the Academy’s curriculum. He also expressed his appreciation to the faculty and staff for carrying out this Bible-based curriculum “with impeccable execution, and for investing in his life the teaching of Biblical truths.” Finally, quoting from Joshua 1:8, Bradley concluded with a final exhortation to all his schoolmates to “hide the Word of God in your hearts always, for it is the Word of God that sustains you in times of need and trouble, so that you may have a victorious life on earth.” Congratulations, Graduate! You have demonstrated what it is like to have fought the good fight of faith, and now you can apply what you have learnt to be the light and salt to touch lives in the world.
