Student Awards

At GCA, we endeavor to recognize the character growth of students, therefore, we pay careful attention to bite-sized growth, as children all grow at different paces. When we recognize students’ growth little by little, it will accumulate from daily to weekly, from monthly to quarterly and yearly! As the Bible teaches, “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.” (Luke 16:10, KJV), this is our desire for our students too.

Once a year, at the end of the academic year in June, there is an Award Day where families, friends and supporters will gather to celebrate the students’ achievements. It is always an exciting and memorable event! Students who have worked diligently towards their character goals during the year will be recognized as they are presented with their awards on stage.

What makes the GCA Awards extraordinary is that the criteria for achieving each award is selected from the 90 Character Traits as portrayed by Jesus Christ from the A.C.E. Curriculum. Therefore, when students are recognized for their achievements, the various character traits that have developed over time, will be instilled into their hearts, which becomes a strong foundation of good character that will lead them to success.
